1. Company Information

2. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Construction Made Clear Ltd for any construction, renovation, or related services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all contracts, quotations, and agreements between Construction Made Clear Ltd and the client.
3. Quotations & Estimates
All quotations provided by Construction Made Clear Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to revision if the scope of work changes. A written quotation must be accepted in writing before work commences.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed in writing prior to the commencement of any works. Invoices are due for payment within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Construction Made Clear Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Variations to Work
Any variations to the agreed scope of works must be agreed in writing by both parties before the variation is carried out. Additional costs arising from variations will be charged at the rates agreed at the time of the original quotation or at current rates if not previously agreed.
6. Materials & Workmanship
Construction Made Clear Ltd will use materials of satisfactory quality and carry out all works with reasonable skill and care in accordance with current building regulations and industry standards. Where the client supplies materials, Construction Made Clear Ltd accepts no liability for defects arising from those materials.
7. Timescales
Any timescales provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. Construction Made Clear Ltd will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, delays in the supply of materials, or changes to the scope of works.
8. Liability
Construction Made Clear Ltd's liability to the client shall not exceed the total value of the contract. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of use arising from the works. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Insurance
Construction Made Clear Ltd holds appropriate public liability insurance. Details of our insurance cover are available on request.
10. Cancellation
Either party may cancel a contract by giving written notice. If the client cancels after works have commenced, they will be liable for the cost of all works completed to date, materials ordered, and any reasonable costs incurred by Construction Made Clear Ltd as a result of the cancellation.
11. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably in the first instance. If a resolution cannot be reached, either party may refer the dispute to an independent adjudicator or mediator. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12. Privacy
Any personal data collected by Construction Made Clear Ltd will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We will only use your personal data to manage your enquiry or contract and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
